The word “podcasting” is used often around the internet these days, although many people are still not exactly clear on just what a podcast is! Simply put, a podcast is a blog (web log) that is made available in audio format. The audio portion is a standard MP3 file that contains a program or “show” that can be created by anyone. Think of it as a radio talk show that can be transmitted from a computer.
The podcast transmission uses Real Simple Syndication (RSS) technology. It may seem complicated but, as the name implies, it is actually fairly simple. There are many resources available to help people learn how to record and set up a podcast. The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow. In fact, with just a few easy to learn skills, some low-cost (or free) computer programs, and the basic computer equipment and internet connections that you probably already have, YOU can create a podcast and host your own show.
In addition to setting up a podcast, you’ll also want to provide a written blog that offers helpful, supplemental text for your podcast material. For example, you may briefly mention a topic in your podcast and then tell your listeners: “For more information on this topic, please see the web site….” In this way, you can expand the amount of information your subscribers receive from your transmission.
When you have set up a blog and website, anyone with an internet connection can subscribe to your show. Listeners will use an RSS “aggregator,” such as Doppler or Ipodder. Both of these are FREE downloadable program that allow others to subscribe to any podcast of interest. They’re easy to set up and can be pre-configured to check for new podcast updates at set intervals. In this way, a subscriber doesn’t have to be “tuned in” to your podcast at a certain time; he can just receive notice of an update that is automatically downloaded to his computer and then listen to it at his leisure. Subscribers listen to these files just like their music files, using Windows Media Player, iTunes, or any other similar audio program that is compatible with MP3 files.
Needless to say, the topics of a podcast are limitless. For example, maybe you have a special interest (even expertise) in fly fishing. What a great idea to have a podcast devoted to the art and adventures of this great sport! You can share techniques, stories, and even take live calls during pre-set transmission times. Podcasting offers you the opportunity to become a true “internet personality.”

My Visit To the C.I.A. In 1996 I had the opportunity to visit the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York for their 50th anniversary. It is the oldest culinary school in the United States.
Founded in 1946 in New Haven, Conn. They have 4 restaurants staffed by the culinary students. Italian style, American, French and Continental.
We ate at the American Cafe restaurant. The reservations are hard to come by. We waited 3 months for these. All the food here is prepared and served by the students. The service is impeccable and they couldn’t be more attentive and accommodating. The students live here at the Hyde Park facility for 18 months on sprawling grounds.
The buildings are also very expansive and interesting. Anyone attending the CIA is sure to earn high marks when looking for restaurant employment.
Many chefs of five star restaurants have graduated from the Culinary Institute of America.
Visiting here was certainly a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and the we all had a great time. Visit there soon.

When you are a single guy in this country might be boring. Being Footloose and Fancy Free means you do not get to have a beautiful date with you when you go to business events, friend’s shindigs or even sit in and watch a romantic movie with someone. When you are Not in a Relationship it will probably be lonely. This is why guys savour call girls. Women call girls are awesome and seductive and a whole lot of joy. Escorts will probably accompany you to business parties and if you pick up a bewitching call girl to be your date you can be sure of the envy of your colleagues. Looking for an Escort in London then call Lucy Bond.
Call girls in London are of a much greater calibre than anywhere else in the UK. The reason is simply that there are more folk here. Call girls in London are elegant and have manners. The cost of an escort will vary, some women escorts may charge per hour whilst others are usually per day or even week. People should expect to pay between 500 pounds and 1000 pounds. The prominent price can get clients the most beautiful escort in the city. Customers should always give the escort the money immediately on meeting, this is common practise. Hence do not be nervous and try a brilliant escort now.

Europe has some fascinating, beautiful historical and sun drenched areas to explore. There are many modes of transport to get there, but driving in Europe gives you a flexibility to explore these areas that only driving can. Small villages, remote castles, lonely beaches are typical areas that cannot be reached by trains, buses or planes. It is no wonder then that many fill the backs of their cars up, map in hand and dive off to adventure. But before you do, make sure that your trip becomes a holiday to remember for the right reasons. First of all is your car up to it? If you have broken down 3 times in the last 2 weeks and not had it looked over, maybe you want to consider that lost cost airline.
Next, are you insured to drive on the continent? Not all insurances allow you to drive in other countries but the one you live in. Not only are you truly putting yourself at risk money wise but also you could be breaking the law and could be locked up.
Have you checked your spare tyre, small tool kit, and maps? Ask yourself this question, what will I do if I breakdown? Have you got the right phone numbers stored in your phone? Does your mobile phone actually work abroad? Where would you ring? And would they speak English when they answer the phone? Do they sell your make of car in the country you are visiting so spares will be available?
If you are struggling with these answers then maybe you should consider European Breakdown Cover. There are English advisors on the phone and some policies even guarantee to get you home or to the place you are travelling. If you breakdown on a country road or at night in a strange country, having this protection could really make the difference of this, being a holiday from hell.
You should also consider the driving culture in those countries you wish to visit. I have driven in several European countries now and the Italians, Turkish and French seem to know how to get more horsepower and brake-power out of their cars than I do. Their horns work better than mine also. So do not assume that everyone is on holiday and will be relaxing taking up the scenery.
I you don’t prepare you could end up having the worst holiday of your lives and a massive bill greater than if you had gone on a Caribbean cruise. If you prepare well there is no reason why you can’t have that dream holiday and enjoy the real hidden treasures of Europe

In this article we’re going to briefly discuss one of the more obscure comic book characters ever to hit the medium, Antman.
Unless you were a total comic book fanatic and bought everything that hit the comic stands, and also unless you’re pretty old too, you probably never heard of Antman. He was as obscure as he was weird. Nevertheless, he did exist.
Antman first saw life in Marvel Comic’s “Tales To Astonish” in 1961. He was created by the same person who gave us such classic characters as Spiderman and the X-Men, Stan Lee. The artwork was done by a gentleman named Jack Kirby.
Antman’s beginnings were actually quite low key. At first he was just a character in Tales, which was a science fiction thriller. It was pretty typical of the kind of stuff Marvel Comics churned out in those days. But the comic just happened to be published at a time when super heroes were coming back in style. Eight months after the release of Tales, Antman came back wearing a skin tight costume with the ability to shrink to the size of an ant. That was his big weapon against the war on crime.
Antman’s real name was Henry Pym, who was a scientist who created and used the size changing ability. He also added a cybernetic helmet to his arsenal. This helmet could communicate with ants. No, that isn’t a misprint. Okay, so it was a little corny. This is an ability he didn’t have in the first story. If he had, that story itself (especially the part on the anthill) wouldn’t have been as exciting.
As the Antman he fought such evil villains as Egghead, The Scarlet Beetle, and The Man with the Voice of Doom. He did this all on his own until finally in June 1963 he teamed up with a female super hero called The Wasp. Later that year they met some soon to be pretty famous characters such as The Hulk, Iron Man and The Avengers.
Antman himself didn’t last very long. Later in his career Pym started to change his size in reverse and became Giant Man. A couple of years later he lost his spot in the Tales comic book to The Sub-Mariner. Since that time Pym has used two other super hero names, Goliath and Yellowjacket. But this was only as a supporting character to the Avengers. In 1969 he married the Wasp but they have since divorced.
In 1979 however, Antman tried to come back. Scott Lang, who was an employee of Pym’s borrowed the technology for the Antman costume for a personal emergency. He then used it to become the new Antman. Pym eventually gave him the costume to keep in order to keep the Antman legacy alive. Unfortunately the resurrection of Antman lasted even shorter than the original series. Today he is seen occasionally as a supporting character to the Fantastic 4 and even became a temporary member of the group when Mr. Fantastic was missing.
Antman never made a splash outside of the comics. Quite honestly, the character would probably be long forgotten if it weren’t for his role in founding The Avengers and his association with the Wasp who was a much stronger character. But for those of us who do remember, he was certainly one of a kind.

If you are one of the many people this Christmas season who have absolutely no idea what to buy for the people in your life that won’t end up returned after Christmas, this is the article for you. Discover ways to purchase what they desire, or ideally, provide them with a gift card and then enjoy the remainder of the day in each other’s company.
Each year Holiday spending gets more and more excessive. Despite everyone saying that next year will be different, it seems like Christmas is spent cleaning up piles of wrapping paper and trying to fit stuff into cars. When we are gift buying for adults, do we really need to go bonkers? Kids get excited for gifts, but adults buy for themselves what they want to have most of the time.
The obstacle occurs, because everyone has different tastes. The theory espoused is apparently that if you buy a lot of things, eventually you will hit on something that pleases the receipient. If you really want to go all out for someone, then do some research first. Inquire of someone who is aware of what they desire. Over the course of the year, a mild interrogation with in depth and probing questions will aid in identifying a suitable gift. Hopefully this will deter you from spending your money on worthless trinkets and gadgets. If all these ideas do not work then there is nothing wrong with gift cards. You can personalize these with a few home-baked cookies or ornaments, or with a personalized card that lets them know that you wanted them to have the last say about their gift. The gift of getting to spend time with family and friends is way greater than any gift can give you.
Many say that gift cards are impersonal, but think about it, isn’t buying someone something they don’t need or want impersonal too? Gift cards are a terrific last-minute idea if your inquiries didn’t result in any answers. Musch of the time people won’t admit to what they want even if they know. This group can also be pleased in a variety of ways. Here is a great site for some personalised gift ideas for everyone.

The thought of a South African safari can often probably stir up the visualisations of joys and the location of warm Africa. South African safaris have been well established in Africa for decades and have become popular with the UK holiday tourists because of the unbelievable weather and the unbelievable wildlife that should be explored. Try a safari in Zambia with Kaingo Safaris.
The greatest time to investigate South Africa for a marvellous safari is around February as the weather is spectacular. The number of Irish tourists who travel over to Zambia for a walking safari has doubled in the last six decades due to the strong pound and also due to the increased attention of Africa.
The wildlife that you might observe is huge, you will probably see cheetahs and elephants all up close. South Africa is great for folk who desire to come and investigate the animals and also wish for a romantic vacation. The safaris are not too strenuous that you cannot go back to your fantastic hotel in the evening for a romantic evening. That is why safaris in Zambia will probably be perfect for a honeymoon. Africa has some of the best privately owned lodges and safaris in the world and should be experienced by everyone at least once.

If you want to move up in your career and you want to show that you can influence people in your job, it’s time to look at strategies to create visibility at work. These 5 tips will help you maintain visibility at work:
- Take a self-inventory — this is basically an assessment of where you are in your current position. What are the skills and attributes you have that are important to the company. If you aren’t sure, ask your boss.
- Keep up with professional development — make sure that you take any opportunity to upgrade your skills or your knowledge in your profession. If a new opportunity comes along, you want to be able to take it.
- Take credit for the jobs you do well –when someone notices that you have done a good job, gracefully thank them and then suggest that you are pleased with what you did.
- Show initiative and motivation — volunteer for committees or new products that come up. Sometimes taking a project that is a bit risky that you know you can make succeed will put you in the forefront of the bosses’ mind.
- Write articles - share your information that you discover in a company newsletter or other publication that is appropriate. Also join a professional organization and write for their newsletter. This will insure your visibility at work.

There is so much to consider when looking for the best digital camera to suit your needs. It is important to decide what features matter the most to you. The main factors, apart from cost, in assessing which is the best digital camera for you are as follows:
• Size and weight
• Resolution
• Level of Control
• Options and features
The size and weight of the best digital camera for one person varies greatly to that of another. If you want a camera that is lightweight and will slip into a pocket or purse then a ultra-lightweight cameras will probably be the best digital camera for your needs. These are often the least complex of the digital cameras as they offer point and shoot simplicity and are the best digital camera for beginners. At the other end of the size and weight scale comes a bulky 1? pound SLR camera for the ’serious’ photographer who wants the best digital camera with all of the accessories to take the perfect shot.
The resolution you need can narrow down which is the best digital camera for your requirements. The resolution affects the detail of an image for printing quality and the higher the resolution the greater the detail. The best digital camera for printing standard size pictures has a lower resolution than if you want to create oversize prints.
The best digital camera for being able to edit and manipulate your images is one with a resolution of 5 or 6 mega pixels so that you can crop the images with photo editing software and still print them out full size.
The amount of control that you have available will also be an issue in finding the best digital camera. Some people think that the best digital camera is one they can use in an automatic mode and let the camera do the work. Others choose the best digital camera that allows them more input in the creative process by manually adjusting the focus, speed, aperture and other settings. A simple point and shoot camera is the best digital camera for people not wanting to make any setting changes but the range of manual controls available on other cameras varies with make and model. The latter will require more research to find the best digital camera to meet your requirements.
The next part in deciding which is the best digital camera to buy is to assess what, if any, additional features you would like. Here are some suggestions:
• Audio annotation to add commentary to your images.
• Burst shooting which allows you to take multiple pictures in rapid succession for fast moving action shots.
• Macro photo capability that focuses on extreme close-up detail for images of flowers, insects, etc.
• Movie mode with audio to take short videos.
• Panoramic stitching function, often included in a camera’s software package, which joins individual images into a multi-photo panoramic picture.
• Weatherproof casing
The most important aspect in choosing the best digital camera for you is ensuring that you are comfortable using it and have some fun taking pictures.
